Got through the financial crisis well.

Lene Marlin and the company Mellowmoment AS was sitting tight and earning money in 2008. Even though the financial crisis consumed over a million of the securities values, the sober-minded 29-year-old still came out of 2008 well.

Lene Marlin is the general manager, chairman of the board, the sole owner, and the only employee in the company Mellowmoment AS.

Back in late March, the nothern paper Avisa Bodø gave Lene's latest album a not so good treatment.

The songwriter Lene Marlin is not impressing much with her latest album, "Twist The Truth", and there are unfortunately few musical highlights.

There is really only one song on this album that reflects what we know the artist and the songwriter Lene Marlin stands for on her best, and this is the already well-known radio single "Here We Are".

A song that she tactically correct has chosen to focus on before the release of her fourth album.

Because this is "only" her fourth album, and is marking a ten year anniversary for the Tromsø girl as an artist.

With an acoustic guitar, violin, and Lene Marlin's airy voice the song "Everything's Good" opens Marlin's new album, with equal shares of music and stillness.

Lene Marlin has found the peace and created a rock solid, safe, and quiet album. It's the fourth in line from the pop favourite of Tromsø.

The following is the remaining nationwide paper Aftenposten's review of "Twist The Truth" from late March.

New sound, otherwise much like the pastlene_radhusplassen_190609_4b

In front of this release much have been suggested about a "new" Lene Marlin.

Mainly because she on her fourth album has changed producers to Even "Magnet" Johansen og Børge Fjordheim (the band Cloroform), who both are known for a quite different musical expression than the relatively airy pop Lene Marlin is connected to since the million-selling debut.
